EcoApprentice brings new, eco-friendly perspective to your nonprofit organization — whether you are delivering meals to the elderly wanting to reduce fuel costs or an artistic painting group looking for ways to cut down on paint disposal.

How does it work? If you are seeking an environmentally friendly solution to some aspect of your operations, simply post an EcoChallenge. Eager college students from around the country will collaborate and respond with real-world EcoSolutions. A wealth of creative ideas will bring you improved efficiency and increased profitability.

  • EcoApprentice is flexible. You may engage in the process as little or as much as you desire. Collaboration can be conducted through email, telephone, a single meeting, or several hours working together.
  • EcoApprentice is easy to use. It provides an immediate presence in your community via social media. EcoChallenges can be engaged remotely and some solutions could be posted within hours or minutes.
  • EcoApprentice offers visibility. It is an instant platform demonstrating that your business is committed to sustainable practices, the health of your local community and working with our future leaders.

What are the Eco Icons? For any EcoChallenge, choose one or more icons that best reflects the category of sustainability that is helped by an EcoSolution. If an EcoSolution results in a new way to recycle something, choose the Recycle Icon; if an EcoSolution results in less waste production, choose the Reduce Waste Icon. A new water conservation method may represent multiple icons. You decide! If your EcoChallenge does not fall under any of the Icons, please let us know so we can create a new one!
